SUMMARY:ACEG Transmission Time Webinar: The PACE Of Trust: A Framework By Community Voices for Advancing Transmission
DESCRIPTION:Americans for a Clean Energy Grid (ACEG)\, in partnership with DNV\, released a new report earlier this year\, “The PACE of Trust: A Framework by Community Voices for Advancing Transmission.” The report seeks to enable the timely expansion and upgrading of the U.S. electric grid through a focus on building trust and working collaboratively across a broad spectrum of community interests. \nTo identify best practices for community engagement when developing transmission lines\, ACEG and DNV convened a Roundtable representing a wide range of community interests who identified four core areas of importance for community engagement: Participation and engagement of communities; Accountability and good governance; Communication\, transparency\, and trust; and Economic and non-economic benefits. \nThis panel will feature members of the Roundtable who will discuss the importance of effective community engagement in transmission development and offer several actionable recommendations for implementation. \nFeatured speakers include: \n\nAnastasia Gordon – WE ACT\nPatrick Whitty – Invenergy\nDavid Harper – 7Skyline Consulting\nPaul Douglas – The JPI Group\nCici Vu and Morgan Putnam – DNV
