Anna Foglesong

Anna Foglesong is Managing Director at Clean Grid Initiative, a hub for strategic leadership, coordination, and grantmaking that raises ambition and expands capacity for unlocking transmission solutions at the state, regional, and national levels so that we can achieve a clean energy future.

Previously, she was the Senior Director of Strategy and Policy Insights and Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), where she focused on the Reliability Imperative – MISO’s efforts to address the changing resource mix and more extreme weather through modifications to our planning, markets, operations, and systems. Anna also spent 10 years at Pacific Gas and Electric Company in various roles in the Energy Policy and Procurement group, including leading policy formulation for legislative, regulatory, and market (CAISO) venues on a range of clean energy, resource adequacy, and distributed energy issues.

Anna holds an MBA and a B.A. in Psychological and Brain Sciences and History from Dartmouth.
