The Conservative Case for Transmission
December 12, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
On December 12, ACEG and the Rainey Center hosted a webinar to discuss the conservative case for transmission. Nearly all elements of modern life depend on reliable electricity, and the U.S. grid needs much more capacity to combat rising costs, prevent outages, and ensure everyone can access sustainable, domestic energy. Panelists discussed the benefits of a modern grid and explore opportunities to build durable consensus on these issues.
Speakers included:
- Corey Schrodt — Director of Government Affairs, Niskanen Center
- John Szoka — CEO, Conservative Energy Network
- Landon Stevens — Senior Program Director, ClearPath
- Sarah Freeman — Commissioner, Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission
- Moderated by Sarah Hunt — President, Rainey Center
