Thursday, September 4 (Washington, D.C.) — Americans for a Clean Energy Grid (ACEG) is pleased to announce that James Ritchotte has joined as Legislative Director.
Ritchotte brings extensive experience in energy policy. Most recently, he served as Federal Policy Director at Nexamp, where he engaged in a range of advocacy efforts on tax, trade, and community programs. He previously led the bipartisan coalition at Climate Mayors as Executive Director, supporting mayors nationwide in shaping and delivering on their energy goals. Earlier in his career, Ritchotte held positions with GE, Alstom, the British Embassy, and Congressman Tom Lantos, engaging stakeholders at the local, state, national, and international levels to advance energy policies.
“We are thrilled to welcome James Ritchotte to the team,” said Christina Hayes, Executive Director of Americans for a Clean Energy Grid. “His proven ability to build coalitions and drive progress on energy policy will be a tremendous asset as we work with Congress and partners across the country to expand and modernize America’s transmission system to create a more reliable and affordable energy grid.”
