ITC Holdings’ Chairman and Chief Executive, Joseph Welch, laid out the argument for the need for additional investment in the United States’ electric infrastructure on March 4, 2011, in an article in the Wall Street Journal and on March 7 on E&ETV’s news program, OnPoint. Welch pointed out that additional investment would increase grid reliability and help connect renewable energy resources to homes and businesses.
